Artificial tears: If it's viral conjunctivitis then preservative artificial tears with cold compressors will help. Just wash your eyes closed with cold water many time during the day. If it's itchy , it may be allergic conjunctivitis . Same treatment, you may need allergy drops like Alaway or Zadidir OTC, 2x/day. Bacterial will have more green pussy discharge. Then you will need antibiotics.
