Purple Toe.: Actually, not that unexpected. Blood leaking from damaged vessels can seep under the skin to surrounding areas, only to show up days later. Unless your foot exhibits pain, swelling or some strange angular deformity since the injury, I would play the wait and see game. If there is concern, it is always advised to seek the advice of a specialist.
