Strictly speaking no: Even a single beer will will affect a person more when benzodiazepines are in ones system (ativan (lorazepam) remains for 48 hours), and the severity of the effect can be unpredictable. That being said, especially in someone who is used to (tolerant of) benzodiazepines, it would be uncommon to run into trouble with what you're describing. Operating a motor vehicle would certainly not be safe though
