Daily: Jolivette is a progestin only pill, sometimes referred to as the "mini pill" since it contains no estrogen. You take the pill at the same time each day. It may be slightly less effective at birth control than estrogen containing pills. There is also no "break" in these pill packs in that each pill contains the progestin medication which should help alleviate your periods.
