A member asked:

My daughter has had this tiny bump that has gotten little bigger & has had it approx 2 mo but today it has gotten red/swollen and is painful. ? serio

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See doc: It appears the 'bump' may have become infected as it has turned red and painful. Best way to find out if it can be serious, or become serious , is to have ur daughter examined and then decide what needs to be done. Depending on where the bump is located it may require investigations or a course of antibiotics. The best judge wld be the examining physician.
