My mother is anemic born 02/03/1966 she is losing blood had to have a transfusion and they still do not know why having migraines and nose bleeds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anemia: There is a long work up for anemia but with the nose bleeds evaluation for a bleeding disorder is usually performed . Since she is 50, she would be recommended a screening colonoscopy and if her stool shows that it has blood then also an upper endoscopy (looking in stomach and colon for blood loss). The other source commonly in premenopausal women is due to abnormal menstruation.
