Needs evaluation: It could be a sebaceous cyst, folliculitis (boil) or abscess. There are other less common possibilities It may need to be drained. He may need an antibiotic. Several questions need to be answered. When did it arise? Has it been treated before? Where is it exactly? How large is it? Any other health issues? Any other symptoms (fever etc)?
