While Prolia works: ...in a slightly different way from the older drugs to prevent bone loss, it appears to be just as effective & may start working sooner. All of these drugs, particularly Prolix, can lower blood calcium levels.Many people don't get enough Vitamin D in their diet to maintain bone health, so both Vitamin D & Calcium supplements are often given along with osteoporosis meds. Mam is just fine!
