Palpable spleen: If your child's immunizations are up to date, this is most likely not splenomegaly. Children are typically thin, so their organs may be more easily palpated (felt). However, if immunizations are not up to date, palpating this area is painful, or in the face of other symptoms (fever, fatigue,etc), it may be worthwhile to have the child seen by Pediatrician.
