I suspect you know: As you may suspect already, if you've not yet been seen in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care center, then that would be a good idea. A broken bone or torn tendon or ligament can lead to a disproportionate amount of pain after an injury, and infection of the wound sight can lead to spreading redness, heat, pain. Either would need treatment beyond what the internet can offer.
