A member asked:

Went to gyno recently for papsmear & realized later on that my dr. did not do the usual pelvic exam part. is this bad that she skipped it this time?

Not bad: If you do not have any symptoms, missing a pelvic examination at the time of PAP smear is not something to be concerned about. You should bring it up with your gyno at the next visit. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
