A member asked:

I'm switching from sprintec birth control to camrese. do i need to use an alternate form of birth control for the first month?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, not if starting: The Camrese the same day you would normally start Tri-sprintec if you had not changed brands. Both products are birth control pills, but have slightly different formulations. It is always advisable to use alternate protection if you miss pills, and to use condoms for Infection protection.
