Need more info: Adenosine is used as an antiarrythmic medicine. It must be prescribed by a cardiologist who is very familiar with your cardiac status and will pick the best drug to control VT.

Adenosine: Adenosine is used to convert SVT. When used it often causes a few seconds of asystole followed by return of sinus rhythm. It can be used for unknown wide complex tachycardia. Usually adenosine will not convert VT.
