You can wait until: it rights itself, or if beyond 8 weeks, go see a healthcare provider to help you get your period back on track. There are ways to do that with contraceptives such as patch, injection, pills etc.. You will have to consult with the healthcare provider for the best option. Sometimes your period fluctuates due to many factors including weather, mood, psychological stress, illnesses, exercise, etc.
