Sometimes: Dyspareunia is a complex and challenging problem. Hysterectomy will only be helpful in cases where the source of intercourse pain is the uterus. There are many causes of intercourse pain besides the uterus. A full and complete evaluation is needed to help determine an individualized plan of care.
