Could be the back?: My first thought would be a back issue, or a lumbar spine issue to be more specific. The calf tightness could come from nerve compression. Could be a herniated disc, or perhaps spinal stenosis. You should look into this formally.

Pseudoclaudication: 30 year old gentleman with gastrocnemius tightness bilateral and symmetrical, trouble standing with lumbar spine in extension. Your symptoms may indicate lumbar spinal stenosis. Leaning forward may serve to decompress your lumbar spine. The symptoms you are complaining about may be from neurogenic claudication. Full history and exam needed see ortho spine surgeon ASAP.
