Inflamed lymph node: The lump you feel in your groin is likely an inflamed lymph node. This occurs if you have some abnormality like an infection occurring in your genitals or in organs in your lower body area like bladder or Prostate. If you are sexually active, there is concern for an STD. You should see your doctor and be checked for STD and other possible causes for an enlarged and tender lymph node.
