Hard to say: You provided no important info such as age,fever or activity level.I'll guess this applies to a younger preschool kid, from your age. Some of these just came down wrong on their hip when horsing around and have a little fluid in the joint space, which will gradually improve.Some can have a bone bruise that would not be visible. If fever,swelling or poor activity, have him seen.If not, monitor.
