I have a non-sports (car) concussion since before christmas. i worry that incidences of hot flashes are able to cause brain damage. are they harmful?

Menopause: The brain is not physically affected by menopause except that it continues to shrink. I am not aware of any further relationship. Enjoy the good things that come with menopause and worry less.
