Contusion: This is a contusion injury to your scalp and will take a week or so for the discomfort and tenderness to resolve. There should be no concern unless persistent discomfort or increasing headaches develop. Even trivial head injuries can cause symptoms of headaches and lightheadedness but these should gradually resolve. If they persist or worsen, see your physician for evaluation.
