A member asked:

I have white spots on my face ..and i think that is becoz of vitamin deficency wat should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It is not likely that the spots are due to vitamin deficiency, and it would take an examination to ascertain the nature of the spots and their cause. However, there will be no harm in taking mufti-vitamin tablets available over the counter and see if that helps. If not, it would be time to see a doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
