Need ortho visit: Clot in leg vein is usually associated with swelling of the leg and pain . A venous leg clot has risk of travelling up and ending in the lung causing shortness of breath. It is important that you visit your physician who can examine and may order a doppler ultrasound to know for sure.

Be seen : Unfortunately, there is not a great way. Even a physical exam by a doctor was only about 50percent sensative and 50 percent specific in detecting a blood clot. So if you have calf pain/calf swelling after a knee scope you probably "need" a Doppler to rule out a blood clot. I would discuss directly with your doctor.
