Unfortunately: a major side effect of that medication! A reduced dosage may be indicated BUT YOU MUST CHECK WITH THE PRESCRIBING PHYSICIAN before you try any more!!! PS the cramps will subside...the length of action however is in "hours".... If the pain does not diminish as time goes on CALL !\ Hope this helps!! Dr Z
