Hormones: Sounds like you are having an imbalance of your hormones that would cause your period to come early. Also possible that a fibroid or polyp could be the cause of this inter-menstrual bleeding. If period is more heavy and cramps are worse, Ibuprofen is going to be best medication. Also, consider seeing a gynecologist to be checked out to make sure that no other issues such as thyroid, weight, etc.
