Mother Nature oopsie: At age 48 you are probably post-menopausal and mother nature may have had one more "shot out of the roman candle" that fizzled. A word of caution, if this bleeding continues see a GYN MD to make sure that this is not a case of endometrial hyperplasia or cancer as this is the most common way it presents.
