Sinusitis: 48 year old gentleman with a sinus infection. How many days have you had a sinus infection? Do you get recurrent sinus infections? Have you tried putting a hot moist rag on your face, using saline nasal spray, and NSAIDs? Studies show that many cases of acute sinusitis (up to 10 days) are caused by the common cold virus, and antibiotics won't help. With severe headache or >10 days see MD. Goodluck
