Reflux disease;: gagging after eating can be due to swelling or irritation of blockage in the swallowing area. A. Have specialist examine lower throat for evidence of pooling - means food not going down right. b.Look for evidence of acid inflammation in the lower throat. Meantime try to eat calmly see it that helps.
