A member asked:

After stopping lexapro (escitalopram) a year and a half ago i developed muscle twitches during weaning off. still did go away? why? labs are fine

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Twitches: If frequent muscle twitching or cramps persist deficiencies of calcium, magnesium or potassium are possible causes, but I wonder if these were measured in your lab work. A neurologist would be qualified to evaluate you and order the necessary tests.
