A member asked:

I am breastfeading my new born, can i take polygynax an antifungal & antibiotic vaginal pessary?

Dr. James Lin answered

Here are some...: Polygynax contains neomycin, polymyxin B, and nystatin which are poorly absorbable. Therefore their concentration in mother's blood should be negligible. So, there should be no good reason to affect a newborn especially since the use of such vaginal capsule is usually not long-term. Nonetheless, just ask your prescribing doc for specific detail.
