R/O Acanthosis: You should have a full exam by a physician in internal medicine to rule out a condition called Acanthosis Nigricans. It can be a harbinger of other more serious internal maladies. Other causes of hypermigmentation are possible such as a tinea infection in the body folds caused by fungus. Please get a full exam in the office, and good luck.
