A member asked:

Why is the roof of my mouth yellow? not like thrush, but tinted yellow. i also have a very sore red throat with mucus. does this just sound viral?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Slight jaundice: You may be suffering from epstein-barr virus or 'mono' which can make you slightly yellow, with throat symptoms as you describe. Everyone's a little different, so the best thing to do is see a doctor for proper evaluation. Jaundice or that yellow color, can be seen inside the mouth, plus also the whites of the eyes if you pull the skin to the side (carefully). Hope you feel better soon!
