PO pain laparoscopy: Yes. This is normal. Likely there was some retained air from the laparoscopic surgery that is irritating the diaphragm. Pain radiates to the shoulders and cheat and can be very sharp. Take slow deep breaths when this happens to dissipate the air. Should be completely resolved by 7 days post-op. If not, return to your surgeon for evaluation.

Yes: You expected to have incisional pain, also the air they out inside can cause referred pain to shoulder, that takes 3 days or so to go away. Otherwise- about a week to return to almost normal, may be with a bit of soreness.
