Many factors: There are many factors that need to occur for a pregnancy to take place. Even if both you and your partner are perfectly healthy it can come down to timing. Since it has been a year of trying without a pregnancy, I would recommend you and your partner follow up with a reproductive endocrinologist. They will make sure the anatomy and hormones are in working order.
