No Panic/Get Checked: There are a lot of reasons for some swelling after childbirth. However, pregnancy is a "hyper-coagulable" state, meaning you are at increased risk of blood clots. If this were both sides I would likely say give it some time, but being one side it should be checked with an ultrasound. Ankle clots are considered low risk, but you need to make sure there is not a problem higher and tx is correct.

Monitor: If there is calf tenderness when you squeeze your calf, get an ultrasound. If it is not tender, compression stocking can be of some help.
