Listen to doctor: If you have not traveled to a poor country, you are not likely to have any worms. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Why: Threadworms are uncommon in adults and never live in/near the ears. Their range is limited to the inside of the intestine. You don't list reasons for your belief, but if it includes rectal itching, that is only one of the possible causes. Local dermatitis from yeast/food allergies/bacterial infections are also causes. If you are treating the wrong thing, your treatments will never work.
