In the first 6 weeks of pregnancy is it possible for hcg levels to drop 20%, then rise 35% over the next 4 days, then double 3 days after that and have a healthy pregnancy? what could cause this level fluctuation?

Need to get US: Beta hcg levels shouldn't drop normally. If the current level is > 2500-3000, transvaginal Ultrasound will show if it is normal pregnancy or possible ectopic pregnancy. If you have pelvic pain and bleeding, should contact your Obgyn.
