Depends: So many factors including last meal, your health/habits, what you will eat and what you are doing for the day. If you are active person, you probably want to eat sooner like within 30 minutes to one hour. If you are not or at later the night before maybe 2 hours is okay. No right or wrong, listen to body. Typically also want complex carbs/protein and not just simple sugars that leave you tired.
