Generally no: HR has a reflexive response to BP and not ICP. The intracranial space is somewhat self-contained in that it consists of blood, CSF, and the brain. An expansion of one (as in increased ICP) is compensated by reduction in another. If compensation is insufficient, ICP rises and if chronic, leads to dec cerebral blood flow and may lead to herniation. You may see HR and BP changes during chronic phase.
