A member asked:

What causes low abdominial cramping and lack of periods other than pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your dr: A late period with cramping could be a sign of pregnancy. Could be other causes (hormones, etc) or an abnormal pregnancy such as a miscarriage or tubal pregnancy. Or it could be the menopausal transition causing your period to be late and a completely separate reason for the cramping--such as an intestinal problem. See your dr to find out the causes.
