Lipoma: If the lump is soft like fat it's probably a lipoma which is nothing to worry about. If the lump is more superficial it may be a sebaceous cyst. Both are benign and can be treated surgically if need. Neither one has much to do with her alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency or the lungs. Best wishes.
