Could be: The pancreas is in that general area, but we do not normally think of pancreatitis improving when leaning forward. Fluid around the heart usually gets better when leaning forward. If you do not feel better soon, you may want to see your doctor.

Abd pain, left side: The pain you describe is not your pancreas. The pain in "lower left side" is probably because of an ovarian cyst, and leaning forward moves the heavy intestines away from the left ovary (gravity), and the pain will lessen. If this pain persists (ovarian cysts usually break spontaneously) see your healthcare provider for an ultrasound exam.
