A member asked:

I have a constant upper/lower left side chests pain/dizziness goes to the neck and left shoulder/back. diagnosed with basilar atelectasis + 4mm lump. should i check my lungs or see a neurologist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can see primary Dr.: A person with aches around the neck, chest, shoulder, and neck, can see his or her primary care doctor to be evaluated. Pains can come from neck and shoulder muscles, the ribs and their joints, the lungs inside the chest, the nerves coming out of the spinal cord, etc... If one feels pain is coming from the heart, has a tight chest pain, or has past heart disease, he or she can get seen at the ER.
