Do i have an ulcer? last night i had severe upper stomach pain at midnight for 2 hrs. it hurt to press on, i had hot and cold flashes and diarrhea.

Stomach pain: Can be reflux or gastritis a pre-ulcer phase. May also be gastritis related to H pylori which can cause diarrhea. or may just be a bout of gastroenetertis if it is resolved. You can test for H pylori and it should be treated if h pylori negative and still symptomatic may try OTC ranitidine / prevecid and see if improves. F/u/ w/ doc
