Sometimes but...: Sinus infections can sometimes be a trigger for migraines but there are various other triggers as well that could be contributing that you might have to look into. If you have a history of poorly controlled rhinitis symptoms I would consult with an Allergist first and see if better treatment reduces migraine reactions.

The term migraine tends to be used for severe headaches & not what is technically a migraine that has certain features(e.g. one-sided,visual changes, etc).A sinus infection can cause a one or both-sided severe headache.That can be one of the first signs of a sinus infection,especially during flu season.

Yes: If you have already been diagnosed with true migraines, a sinus infection can indeed bring one on, just as any other illness, stress, diet change, sleep deprivation, etc can bring one on. Occasionally migraines can FEEL like a sinus infection and vise-versa, too. If you are not sure if you have migraine or sinusitis, you should get examined.
