New headache: Migraine appears to be an inherited condition so it is not unusual at all for the child of parents who have headaches, to have headaches as well. If a person expresses that their headaches have changed suddenly or they are getting worse than usual, it is prudent to be evaluated and get imaging studies to rule out other causes for the head pain.
