Hi so recently over the past two days i have developed a small egg shaped lump right above my adams apple. should i be worried?

See your doctor: Possibilities include a thyroglossal duct cyst (which can enlarge when infected), laryngocele, enlarged lymph node, and other less common problems. This needs evaluation and possibly imaging such as ultrasound or CT.
