Monitor bleeding: Do pregnancy test is you have had unprotected intercourse.If negative, changes in bleeding pattern are common and usually do not suggest a problem unless they continue to happen with many cycles and are bothersome.Keep a menstrual calendar and mark all days that you see bleeding or spotting.Bring this to your provider if the bleeding pattern continues to bother you or worsens.Use contraception.
