YES: in fact rapidly becoming the drug of choice since no special dietary prohibitions and NO TESTING! Sounds like Hypercoagulable state ruled out and 6 months of treatment is present recommendation. If the DVT is COMPLETELY UNEXPLAINED many experts now recommending LIFETIME TREATMENT if Pulmonary Embolus occurred !
