Not if a real period: Pregnant people don't have real menstrual periods. However, if the vaginal spotting or bleeding might not be a real menstrual period, and one has been having sex, she can just check a home urine pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex. At 3 weeks, the test is very accurate.
