Doctor can check: One's primary care doctor or orthopedic doctor can check. Their questions would be, "What did you do" and "Where is it sticking out?" If a patient did something and popped the end of his clavicle out at the joint where it is attached to the top of his breastbone (sternum), he might be in a bit of trouble because it is hard to get that end of the clavicle to go back into place and stay in place.
